Jos — There won’t be movement of cattle or grazing in the night along highways in Plateau state, stakeholders from troubled parts of the state and Bauchi state said after a meeting yesterday in Barkin-Ladi.

The stakeholders asked that all local government areas should sign-post all reserved areas within their domain and expressed need for joint vigilante with the support of LG chairmen while advising communities in Plateau and Bauchi States to return to the past peaceful mutual relationship.

All these points are contained in the communiqué at the end of the one-day interactive peace parley organized by the Special Task Force (STF) for stakeholders from nine Local Government Areas of Barkin Ladi, Bokkos, Jos East, Kanke, Mangu, Pankshin, Riyom in Plateau State as well as Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa in Bauchi State.
