NDLEA Wants Varsities to Partner On Drug Abuse Campaign

Bauchi โ€” The newly posted Commandant of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Bauchi State Command, Julius Bawa Phara, has advised tertiary institutions to cooperate with the command in its fight against drug abuse. The state commandant made the call yesterday when he visited the management of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi.

He said they were at the polytechnic to interact with all stakeholders in the fight against drug abuse and trafficking in the country.

Rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Shuaibu M. Musa, said the polytechnic is making effort to tackle drug abuse and other social vices through its various committees in collaboration with students and other relevant social stakeholders.
