Maigari Donates Kits to Bauchi Teams

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari, has donated football kits worth millions of Naira to eight football clubs in Bauchi.

In a formal presentation of the kits at the weekend, Maigari stated that the aim of the donation of the kits to the teams was to contribute to the development of the round leather game in the State.

Maigari stressed on the need to support the amateur clubs in the state, to enable them develop and promotion to the professional ranks.

The NFF President also commented on the resurgence of Nigerian football under his administration, highlighting on the achievements of the various national teams in the past year.

In a show of appreciation, the chairman of the Bauchi State FA, Yahuza Adamu Ningi, thanked Maigari for the donations stating that the gesture was the first of its kind.

He further stated that Maigari deserved more than a second term to continue the good work he has started.
