Bauchi Yoruba community honours Yuguda’s CPS

THE Yoruba community in Bauchi will on Saturday, December 7, 2013 install the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Governor Isa Yuguda, Ishola Michael Adeyemi, as the Olu Omo of Yoruba Community.

The installation, which is part of activities lined up for the community’s 2013 Yoruba Day celebration, under the chairmanship of Alhaji Ibrahim Saidu Jahun, the Galadiman Bauchi, will take place at the Community House, Games Village, Bauchi, at 10 a.m.

Governor Isa Yuguda is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the event, while the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, will be the royal father of the day. The Oba Yoruba in Bauchi, Alhaji Ahmadu Adebisi Lawal is the chief host of the event.

Other dignitaries expected at the occasion include the Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Dandija (guest of honour), the Polytechnic Librarian, The Fedral Polytechnic, Bauchi, Mrs Hajar Pisagh, who will be the chair lady of the day, among others.
