Bauchi SUBEB Disburses N30 Million to 260 Schools

Bauchi โ€” The Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has disbursed over N30million to 260 primary and secondary schools across the state.

Distributing cheques to the selected schools, chairman of the board, Alhaji Abdullahi Dabo, said the money was an intervention by the UNICEF “D” field office in the state.

Alhaji Abdullahi stated that about 100 primary schools and 60 junior secondary schools are to get N150, 000 each while 100 Tsangaya schools across the state would receive N80, 000 each. He commended UNICEF for the money and urged benefiting schools to ensure proper utilization of the funds. He added that the exercise would be a continuous one.
