The Coordinator, Girl Child Education Project in Bauchi State, Alhaji Umar Sani, said on Monday that 100 Tsangaya schools had been registered under the state integrated Qur’anic Tsangaya Education.

The coordinator said this in an interview in Bauchi.
He said that pupils enrolled by the Qur’anic schools would be trained using a harmonised curriculum.

“The state government has posted facilitators to teach core subjects in the centres,” he said, adding that more centres would be registered.

Sani said that monitoring and evaluation tools were also developed for effective and efficient service delivery.
He said a monthly inspection had been adopted to ensure pupils’ attendance at the centres.
