Bauchi Emir Lauds AIT Over Sub-station

The Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Adamu, has commended the efforts of DAAR Communications, owners of  the African Independent Television (AIT) and Ray Power FM, for establishing a sub-station in Bauchi State.

Adamu made the commendation when the head of the state sub-station,  Mr Terverr Tyav, paid him a condolence visit over the death of the village head of Tirwun, the host community of the AIT/Ray Power station.

According to him, establishment of the media outfit with international reputation is a welcome development to the entire people of the state, adding that communication is part of development and development means improving lives of the people.

“Apart from that, the media house will create employment within the immediate community which will also reduced the rate of teaming unemployed in the state; we stand to benefits from that station,” he stated.
