While presenting government’s donations to the families through the  Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Kennedy Masau consoled the families of the deceased, saying that the donation is only a consolation rather than compensation.

Responding on behalf of the bereaved families, the leaderships of churches in Zango, emphasised the need for government to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of the dastardly act as well as establish a security post within the area in order to prevent future occurrence.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the Bauchi Local Government chapter of CAN was at the Government House to thank the Governor for assisting the families of the victims of Sunday’s shooting in Zango.

The local CAN leadership urged Christians to consider the death of their brethren in the shooting as an act of destiny and to desist from avenging the death.
